100% Ethiopian Eri silk from local production. Hand-spun and hand-woven on traditional looms. All processing steps from caterpillar breeding, spinning, dyeing with natural colors to weaving are the responsibility of Sabahar in direct cooperation with the local population. Small bumps in the fabric are normal and a sign of high-quality handwork. Hand-washing possible. Better than washing, however, is to hang the scarf in the steam and then let it air out.

Available in two attractive colors. The beige color is dyed with coffee, the gray with a mixture of pomegranate and iron. The woven patterns are called tibeb and are traditional Ethiopian symbols.
